🔥 To everyone who thinks cleaning is "just cleaning"... try doing it in 30°C heat. 🔥
While many people are sitting in offices, working from home with fans, or enjoying the sunshine, cleaners are:
🧽 Scrubbing bathrooms in hot, steamy rooms
🧽 Deep-cleaning ovens that feel like furnaces
🧽 Carrying heavy equipment from property to property
🧽 Vacuuming flights of stairs
🧽 Lifting, bending, kneeling, and constantly moving for hours at a time
And we're often doing it in houses with no air conditioning and very little airflow.
By the end of the day, we're not just tired — we're drenched, aching, dehydrated, and still expected to maintain the same high standards our clients deserve.
So if your cleaner arrives looking a little flushed, takes a moment to catch their breath, or pauses for a drink of water, please remember: we're human beings, not machines.
A little understanding, a glass of cold water, or even a simple "make sure you look after yourself in this heat" means more than you know.
To all the cleaners out there still showing up, still grafting, and still giving 100% despite the heatwave — you deserve recognition. What we do is physically demanding at the best of times. In this heat, it's another level entirely.
❤️ Stay hydrated. ❤️ Take your breaks. ❤️ Don't risk your health for a spotless skirting board.
Because no clean house is worth heat exhaustion.
