Christie Car Wash, based in Rawtenstall dropped off this industrial vaccume.

We replaced one of its 3 motors, removed a dangerous section of power cable, installed a new plug and serviced the machine.

Back working like new again 💪.

There isnt much that we cant fix, this week so far we have repaired:

Henry the Hoover had started making a noise like a duck with asthma and had the suction power of a tired sigh. Clearly, the poor lad was in distress.

Full service complete, damaged power cord replaced and a new power switch installed 💪

He’s now purring like a cat with a jet engine.

Following on from my post earlier this week about fixing all sorts of things… here’s a little update on what we’ve managed to get working again:

💻 Brought a laptop back to life – new battery, fan repair, and fresh thermal paste so it doesn’t overheat.
🔔 Fixed a video doorbell – new battery and resistor fitted.
🌀 Got a washing machine up and running – fault code cleared and a new belt installed.
🧹 Repaired a bunch of vacuum cleaners – keeping them going strong.

We have had an usually high influx of broken carpet cleaners this week. We have fixed 8 in the last 3 days.

This is 1, due to the amazing 6 week holidays and the children being off school 🤣 and 2, I've been advised by many customers that vaccume repair companies don't like touching them.

They are more labour intensive to repair in most cases and the parts are not as easily accessible as they are for normal hoovers.

3 years ago I bulk purchased the most common parts that fail on these machines and as a result they can be repaired for between £50 - £70 - they cost a fortune to replace and we can get them working as good as new!

Do you have a broken carpet cleaner? Is it leaking water, brushes not spinning or reduced suction?

Maybe a faulty vaccume cleaner? A dog chewed power cable, an on/off switch that intermittently works, huge reduction in power/suction, brushed not spinning or a bad smell?
