We’ve got something exciting to share.🌿

Our biodiversity team have been working on a new project behind the scenes, and we’re excited to give you a little sneak peek. Trail cameras are now set up around the park, helping us keep an even closer eye on the wildlife that shares Green Park with us.

They capture the moments we’d usually miss, from early morning visitors to the night shift that comes out once the offices go quiet.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re proud to be standing alongside Reading FC Community Trust once again. 💙

Taking place on 10th October, this year’s theme is ‘Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change’, a reminder of just how much it matters to listen.

Green Park hosts a regular walking mentoring group onsite, welcoming some of the children and young people the Trust supports. Alongside getting outside and spending time in nature, the walks give young people the chance to learn more about the world of work.

October is here and spooky season has officially landed at Green Park. 🎃🍂

Kick things off after dark at our Bat Walk and Talk, where you'll meet the bats that call the park home and head out with detectors to listen in on them. 🦇

Show your support by joining us for Wear it Pink Day, a chance to add a splash of pink to your working day for a brilliant cause. 🩷

Think you know your ghouls from your ghosts? Round up your team for our Spooktacular Halloween Quiz and battle it out for the top spot. 👻

Get creative with our Day of the Dead Skull Painting session, bringing colour and a little celebration to the season. 💀

And of course, it wouldn't be October without our annual Pumpkin Carving. Grab a pumpkin, pick up your tools and see what you can create. 🎃

Pumpkin season has arrived at Green Park 🎃

Our next lunchtime art class brings a playful twist to autumn. Each guest will get their own 3D pumpkin to decorate with acrylic paints, taking inspiration from Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and her bold colours, playful patterns and famous polka dots.

Whether you paint all the time or haven’t picked up a brush in years, this is a relaxed, easy-going hour to unwind and get creative. You’ll leave with your own one-of-a-kind pumpkin to take home or show off on your desk.

Join us for an evening Bat Walk and Talk, where you’ll discover which bat species make their home right here on the park.

We’ll start with a friendly introduction to bat behaviour, the sounds they make and how to use a bat detector.

Then we’ll head out together on a guided walk to visit the bat boxes around the park, using the detectors to listen in on these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat.

Looking for something new after the summer? How about learning to play the guitar. 🎸

Our weekly guitar group meets every Wednesday lunchtime. The class is suited to any level and you’ll learn in a group setting. Take a look how far they’ve come since they started back in January!

Led by the fabulous Pete, sessions cover everything from chords and strumming to scales and songs, all at a pace that suits the room.
