After nearly 30 years with SOLO, the time has come for me to step away and begin (a very 😊) early (and much anticipated!) retirement.
This decision is about spending more time with family, travelling, and saying yes to the things that have had to wait while work often took priority.
I leave with enormous pride in what we’ve built together over the years.
I’m delighted to be handing ownership of the business to Nicky, alongside her new (silent) business partner, and to see Holly Cadle stepping up and picking up the reins in my absence. The company is in exceptionally capable hands, and I have complete confidence in the team and the future direction of the business.
To our customers and suppliers: thank you. Your loyalty, trust, support and partnerships over the years have meant more to me than I can put into words. This journey simply wouldn’t have been possible without you.
While I’m closing this chapter, the story very much continues — and I’ll be watching with interest (from somewhere sunnier, ideally!).
My last day in the office is Tuesday 24th March.
