Fair to Trade Ltd. Suppliers of hand made and ethically traded Christmas, Easter, Religious and all year round decorations and gifts to the retail sector.

We supply trade customers only. We provide competitively priced quality hand made products that are both appealing to the consumer whilst being commercially viable for the retailer. All of the products come from producers that work to the 10 principles of Fair Trade as defined by the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) and we have been recognised as a fair trade importer by the British Associatio

n for Fair Trade Shops (BAFTS). Our ranges include papiermache from Kashmir, olive wood from Bethlehem, zari from northern India and cinnamon and ceramics from Vietnam. We offer a mix of traditional products and designs from the region as well as having our own designs that we think might appeal to a wider UK audience. Because we work directly with the producers we are also able to offer bespoke products based on your own designs or ideas. We supply our products mainly to gift shops, garden centres, independent retailers, church and cathedral shops and department stores. We also support individual fair trade resellers but unfortunately can not supply to the public directly or individuals or businesses that sell through on-line auction sites

✨ Happy Birthday May Morris ✨

Today we celebrate the work of May Morris, a pioneering embroidery designer, artist, and key figure in the Arts and Crafts movement who was born on 25th March, 1862.

May revolutionised decorative needlework towards the end of the 19th century with organic, detailed designs and fostered female artistry by co-founding the Women's Guild of Arts in 1907.

Her designs remain as relevant and inspiring today, and form an important part of our new licensed collection of handmade decorations available later this year. This includes three May Morris hand painted papier-mâché baubles based on interpretations of her Rose Wreath, Bluebell, and Acanthus designs.
