We are happy to announce that we are helping to sponsor this year’s Two Wood Pairs Competition at Tilehurst Bowls Club.

The event takes place on Sunday 7th July starting at 9am, continuing through to the early evening and features international players, World Champions and Commonwealth Champions from all over the UK

We have been made aware that someone is using our Company name as a front to advertise and sell appliances. They are directing people to look at our Facebook and web page to gain trust. Money is being transferred. We are getting calls asking when the appliances are being delivered. Obviously we have no idea about any transactions. Please note, we DO NOT sell new or used or ex display appliances

Rather than give out Xmas presents this year to our account customers we though instead we would donate the money to the NHS to show our gratitude for every thing they do for us all. Happy Xmas

Thank you to everyone for bearing with us whilst we worked through what we should and should not do etc. I think we pretty much got to everyone even if it was a day or so longer on the booking times. We are welcoming back Penny in the office and Calum on the road as of Monday 1st June which is great. Tracy has been amazing in the office trying to cover all the bookings etc. We have a great team and it will be great to all be back together again

Based on the below information from the Government website, our engineers are back out on the road today to attend emergencies only. An emergency is classed as a complete failure of either an oven, a washing machine or refrigeration. We are still taking jobs for non emergency situations but are not able to offer dates or times until we have updated information.

Current situation update

Further to the PM’s announcement last night, our engineers are not out on the road today. They, and Tracy, are now busy in the office contacting all customers who were expecting a visit from us today.

We are currently trying to ascertain whether appliance engineers are classed as essential workers. It seems to be a grey area and information is vague. We are liaising with other people in the industry and also our insurers. If we are given the go ahead to continue working, we will be prioritising essential repairs only which are ovens, refrigeration and washing machines and only then if it is a complete failure of the appliance.

We are still taking details for bookings, both essential and non essential, but at this stage will not be in a position to offer you a date or time slot.

The health and safety of our customers and our staff is our main priority in this strangest of situations, so please bear with us and we will update again soon.

Do you have an appliance with an annoying intermittent fault?
Not sure if you need an appliance engineer quite yet?

Don’t risk it at this time of year. Nobody wants to be without an oven on Christmas Day and those of you with a dishwasher probably wouldn’t want to be without that (can you tell that one of our team doesn't have a dishwasher? Not at all jealous.....)
