Coastline Security Ltd are expanding their areas of operation and are now actively seeking construction companies to man their construction sites. Coastline have had an influx of staff and we can deploy these men and woman immediately.

Furthermore we are looking to extend our clientele in the pub, club and hotel industry.

Good evening, everyone.

I have some major news I wish to share with you all first.

As of today, I have sold Coastline Security Ltd to Ethan Harper.

Why?

I believe that Ethan will continue to push everything I have built and take it to a new level. I will NOT be leaving Coastline. I will now be the new Senior Security Consultant for the company.

My role.

I will be advised Ethan and the company on a daily basis to ensure Coastline continues to grow but with the owner Coastline deserves. I can't give 100% anymore with my new career down the mine.

I can confirm that NOTHING will change in terms of employment, and all our contracts are secure until the end of 2025.

To avoid any rumours, I've made this decision based on my family and our needs going forward.

This will be my last message to you all in terms of being Coastline Security Ltd. Managing Director.

Please show Ethan the same respect you have shown me. I will be available should you require assistance or information going forward, but my input will now come from Ethan.

I wish you all the most amazing careers, and I can't wait to support you as an employee of Coastline Security to bring us forward in a major way.

This is a very honest decision to explain where Coastline Security Ltd are as company.

We are 4 months old and competing in a very crowded market with daily difficulties as most business owner face.

The one thing I try to do is give the most professional staff I can and at times, due to staff pulling out of shifts due to family responsibilities or illness, we have struggled to provide our usual regular staff on their respective venues.

I've had to ask them to go above and beyond at times and they have never failed to accept the challenges and give the best results upon my requests.

I'd like to thank Jimmy Mac's - Redcar for their understanding and unbelievable support during testing times for me. This has bought me time to get the best staff for them and continue our wonderful relationship. Big love to all involved there.

I'd be lying if the venue security game was easy. It's been extremely testing but you have all stuck by me and bought into my companies forward thinking and friendly approach which has undoubtedly been a massive part of our venue security and success.

I'm on a journey to bring safe, friendly and efficient staff to make our venues a fantastic place to attend.

To all of you who have seen the levels effort we put in and continue to work together in the most amazing togetherness. I owe you so much.

Company life at any level is challenging but to have the best clients and friends on board, Coastline will grow and keep producing the best results possible.

The "Doorman"

I would like to give the highest praise to all the staff at Coastline Security Ltd . After 4 months trading, I've personally found what works for me and our team which hasn't come without challenges.

I'd like to take 2 mins to decicate this post to not only our venue security, but each and every company out there. First let's start with them:

They wait patiently all week to attend their respective venues and give up vital time with their families, loved ones and quite frankly, give their own quality of life up to provide a service that's most of the time ignored or undervalued.

I've been in the high end security game long enough to understand that security is a massive overhead. This takes me to pay.

Not only do they give their all, the "Doorman" game is struggling with companies, especially in smaller towns, not able to afford a big security budget. Therefore meaning SIA trained operatives are forced to accept smaller wages, some illegal, to keep their jobs.

Let's talk about the fact the SIA is 10's of thousands, if not 100's of thousands short to actually provide qualified staff to pubs, clubs, festivals, venues etc. Therefore companies again will be forced to, or choose to, provide unqualified staff.

Now how about this. I reckon at least 80% of venue security already have a full time job so actually choose to do this for financial reasons or because now it's fast becoming the easiest route to gain employment in the UK.

Believe it or not, they also like to take much needed time to be with their families or find some time to recharge. Being around the public or venues who are drinking disorderly or various other forms of drugs, 100% isn't great but they constantly turn out great performances week after week after week.

So from me, to everyone out there doing their absolute best and risking their health and safety. I appreciate you and all your efforts.

Spare a thought for all SIA staff out their this weekend during organised riots whilst asked to work alone, whilst others are safe enjoying their evenings safe inside.

The most undervalued and under appreciated job out there.

Keep safe this weekend and say hi to your local door man or lady. Show respect like they show you.
