Lot 249, London Underground Enamel Way Out Sign with a 3 flight arrow, from the 1930s. Professionally mounted in a frame for displaying on a wall. The sign is very good condition with no signs of restoration. Rumour has it, this sign could have come from Holborn Station for when the Aldwych branch was in operation.

Going under the hammer tomorrow, 10am, 'Dick Whittington' cast name plate. Fitted to one of the 20 Bo-Bo electric locomotives built for the Metropolitan Railway between 1922 and 1923. They were withdrawn from service in 1961 though some were retained as shunters. Dick Whittington was number 13 and was withdrawn in 1962. Name plate measure 6 x 46 inches.

Lot 448, A Quad Royal Poster (50x40 inches) for The West Highland Line. Designed by Jack Merriott for British Railways in the late 1950s. It shows a view of the observation car going over Lochy Viaduct near Fort William.

Lot 426, London Buses and London Transport officals badges.

Contained in this lot are a London Buses Inspector, Instructor and Area Office Inspector badges and a London Transport Officials Badge numbered 1558 issued to a revenue protection official. These 4 badges are in good condition and the LT Officials badge comes on a plastic wallet.

A collection of approximately 900 black & white negatives mainly featuring railway subjects. There are a small number of bus and London tram images in the collection. Various film formats have been used which reflects the variable quality of the images. The railway subjects include a lot of views of signals that were extensive in the period covered between 1949 and 1953.
