Robert the doll is a haunted doll exhibiting at the East Martello Museum.
He is said to be the cause of many misfortunes including broken bones, car accidents, divorces and loss of jobs.
He was originally owned by Robert Eugene Otto, an eccentric artist. The doll was a birthday gift from his grandfather.
Ever seen The Boy movie? This was very similar, the young Otto would take the doll everywhere and speak of him as if he was a real person.
As he grew older, Otto would blame bad events on the doll and when he purchased his home, 'The Artist House', the doll could be seen at the top window. Children avoided the house as people would swear the doll moved about.
After Otto's death in 1974, Myrtle Reuter bought the house and the doll. After twenty years of the doll moving about and causing disturbances, Reuter donated the doll to the museum in 1994.
He became very popular at the museum, hundreds would come and see him and even write him letters, asking for his advice.

Out on Darwen Moors today, looking for the crash site of an old plane that crashed during the 40's.
Whilst out on the Moors, we heard a young childs laugh right near us.
At first we thought it was our phones but it wasn't. Proper creeped us out, no one around.
