A late 18th century portrait, with hand carved gilt frame. Full clean repair of two tears and repair and gild frame.

Update on opening dates.
Monday being a bank holiday, I will be closed.

Oil painting of St Marks square Italy, c1760.
With a large hole and previously lined.
So a full reline fill and retouch missing canvas.
The painting had been badly restored in the past, as you can see the original paint in tge sky and other areas, have been removed.

Heres the restoration of 19th century Italian plaster and gesso frame.

Heres a mid to late 1800's water colour, heavily stained. But after cleaning, alot more detail can be seen.

Heres an interesting engraving of Hurst castle dated 1733, stained and required a simple frame to match the period. And clean.
