Meet our Supply Chain Manager, Conor McLaughlin, who joined Manthorpe Building Products in June 2018 💙

Conor started his journey with Manthorpe as Planning and Purchasing Manager, overseeing production planning and procurement. In June 2024, he was promoted to Supply Chain Manager, adding responsibility for the warehouse function to his role.

Passionate about continuous improvement and sustainability, Conor has helped drive initiatives to increase recycled material content and support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques as part of Manthorpe’s transition to the Genuit Business System (GBS).

Outside of work, Conor enjoys attending festivals, including Wingfest and Download, and is a huge Bruce Springsteen fan, having seen him perform at Wembley Stadium and Anfield in recent years.

He’s also developed a passion for collecting CDs from charity shops and has already surpassed his goal of listening to 12 studio albums this year. And, of course, no profile of Conor would be complete without mentioning his love of sausage rolls!
