A&F Sprinklers is looking for a Sprinkler Proposals Engineer to join our growing Sales team.

📍 Locations: Rochdale, Glasgow, Worcester or Swansea — remote working considered.

You'll prepare tenders for prospective and existing clients, develop proposals for industrial and commercial sprinkler projects, and coordinate contract handovers with our wider teams.

We're particularly interested in candidates with sprinkler design or estimating experience, knowledge of BS EN 12845 and FM Global rules, and AutoCAD skills.

Louis joins us with eight years of experience in the sprinkler industry, having started his career as a sprinkler fitter and built up valuable hands-on installation experience.

Looking ahead to the future of our industry!

Last Thursday morning, our HR Manager, Dan Clayton, and Service Manager, Danny Heatley, headed to Whitworth High School for its careers fair.

It was a great opportunity to talk to students about the world of fire sprinklers and the different career paths available within our industry, from engineering and design to installation, servicing and project management.

We're passionate about helping young people discover new opportunities and showing them that a career in fire protection can offer plenty of scope to learn, develop and build a future.

Stephen has joined our Main Contracts team as a Junior Design Engineer, based at our Swansea office.

With over 20 years of experience in customer service, administration and project support, Stephen brings a wealth of transferable skills. He’s also already gained experience supporting sprinkler design teams and is working towards the LPCB Basic Sprinkler Design qualification.

Stephen will be working alongside our experienced Design Team to develop his technical knowledge and help deliver high-quality sprinkler system designs for our customers.

September has been another busy month at A&F Sprinklers!

Here are some of the highlights from across the business:

💙 Curt’s fundraising continues!
After taking on the Great North Run for Alzheimer’s Society, Curt Jackson raised a further £510 for our Charity of the Year. A huge thank you to Curt and everyone who has supported his fundraising!

👋 We welcomed four new members of the A&F family:
• Riley Agass – Service Engineer
• Jonathan Wild – Pump Engineer
• Kai Davies – Trainee Design Engineer
• Chris Nisbet – Regional Manager

📍 New projects are underway, including work across logistics, corporate headquarters, fulfilment and education facilities.

🎉 Congratulations to Gary Tomlinson, who has been promoted to Design Manager for our Swansea team.

🏅 We also celebrated 5-year and 20-year service anniversaries for members of our team. Thank you for your continued commitment to A&F!

⚙️ Behind the scenes, we've also been continuing to improve the way we work, with important updates around supply chain governance, due diligence, overnight allowances, safety memos and workplace facilities.
