Kawasaki ZX-10R that’s been sat on one of my ramps for 2 years has finally got the parts it’s been waiting for! 2 years wait for a gearbox to be listed on eBay! The same day it was listed, we bought it! It’ll be worth the wait just to get the ramp back!

I’ve not posted for ages! It’s only because it’s been absolutely mad busy and the days have all rolled into one. I can’t believe that we are going into July on Wednesday..! What happened to April, May and June!?!

Anyway, I did take a few pictures of some of the work I’ve had in over the last few weeks so please do take a look. Everything there from a simple service to a full gearbox swap. Even had a French customer who’s bike lost all its oil on the way home from the IOM TT. Ended up being a loose oil cooler pipe that had come off due to a snapped bracket. A quick aluminium weld from Tim at bikes and beyond and all back together. Check them out and hopefully I’ll be able to start doing some videos again soon! 🙌🏼👍🏼

Yamaha MT03 2026 Stolen Recovered.

Today I’ve fitted a new genuine Yamaha lock set and a set of heated grips as the police cut her old grips off for forensics.

Strange one here. Customer says that it started to develop a bit of power loss and running rough from time to time. He took it into his local Honda dealership and they had it for a couple of days and told him there’s nothing wrong with it.

A few days later he’s out riding and it really started to run rough, not long after it completely shut off and he had to coast it to a stop. He also reported that the engine temperature was reading over 130 Celsius.

I’ve got the bike in now and it has some strange smells to it and there seems to be an oily residue on the inside of the panels, all over the engine and back of the swing arm. Let the investigations begin! 🙌🏼
