Yesterday we completed the Abergavenny Three Peaks ⛰️🙌

Absolutely gruelling at times, but awesome all at once…. Sugar Loaf (hell on earth), Skirrid Fawr & Blorenge all conquered alongside the brilliant Kim & Roland as part of the Dragon Coworking crew 🐉💪

This was actually my birthday treat to myself this year… slightly questionable decision making in hindsight during some of the climbs 🤣 but honestly such an amazing experience and one I’m really proud to have completed.

Very achey legs today, but so worth it knowing it was all in aid of charity ❤️

I’ve been going to The Rookie CEO for the past year and if you haven’t been yet and want networking that’s a little different, you should definitely come along to try it out.

I’ve genuinely met some brilliant people I now call friends, made, business connection and every event leaves me with something valuable to take away. The mix of technical and mindset speakers means there’s always something useful to learn.

Also, there's no long term subscriptions or huge ticket prices either. Just a one off fee of less than £6.50 that goes straight to charity.

This all still feels very relevant & I can totally relate.

A lot of operations support is simply refining as you go, improving processes one step at a time & finding better ways of working along the way. It definitely doesn’t happen overnight… it’s been baby steps all the way for me.

You don’t need a full time hire.
You just need a bit of breathing space.

There comes a point where it’s not that you can’t do the work…
it’s just that you probably shouldn’t be doing all of it anymore.

The follow ups, the admin, the bits that eat your day.

And then that thought kicks in… “I can only afford a few hours a week.”

So you leave it.
Carry on as you are.
Keep juggling.

But here's a little golden nugget for you... a few hours of the right support can make a big difference.

A bit more headspace.
A bit more focus.
A bit more time to actually move things forward.

And suddenly it’s not just about getting through the week…
it starts to feel like things are working with you again. 🌈

A bit of a personal update because April has been full in the best way...

With Easter, a very excited 7 year old birthday, and all the usual life in between, it has been a hectic one to say the least. Then the weekend came… my husband taking on the London Marathon.

An early start, a lot of anticipation, plenty of walking and a full day of soaking it all in, all leading up to that moment of seeing him make it to the end 🏆😃

Such a special day to be part of, full of admiration and a real reminder of how kind people can be with strangers cheering each other on all the way.

Very proud, very grateful, and very glad we were all there together to experience it. One we will all remember 🩷

For those of you that don’t know, I’m super chuffed to be a part of the Dragon Coworking team taking on the Abergavenny 3 Peaks Challenge this May ⛰️ 🐉

Together on Saturday 16th we’ll be tackling Sugar Loaf, Skirrid Fawr and Blorenge as part of , raising funds for the incredible work Demelza Charity does for children and families.

What a brilliant day yesterday at the Kent Business Show, held at the Ashford International Hotel!

As always, it’s the people that make it.. great conversations, new connections and moments where you realise how much you have in common.
