Why?

Because it tells you you’re never doing enough as there’s always something else waiting.

The reality however?

You’ve probably achieved far more than you’ve given yourself credit for.

Running a business isn’t about getting to the end of the list… because there isn’t one.

It’s about recognising the small wins along the way, that’s what keeps the momentum going. 👏

A little reminder for any small business owners...

If social media feels like another job on your never-ending to-do list, you're definitely not alone.

One of the first things I often help clients with isn't creating loads of content.. but just putting a plan in place.

When you know what you're going to post, it becomes so much less overwhelming....

✔️ Share what you know.
✔️ Celebrate your wins.
✔️ Answer the questions your customers ask.
✔️ Show the people behind the business.

You don't need to post every day and you certainly don't need to be perfect. Consistency will always beat perfection, trust me 🙏

What's your biggest challenge with social media... finding the time or knowing what to post?

Two years of Leaway 🎉

Feeling very grateful as I head into the weekend.

It’s been a journey with plenty of highs and lessons, but above all it’s introduced me to some incredible people and clients, many of whom I now consider friends.

I was planning to recreate last year’s castle photo… but I’ve been so busy I never actually made it there. So AI had to lend a hand this time! 🤭

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey so far.

Here’s to year three! 🥂

Being busy isn't always the same as being productive.

I've worked with business owners who are working evenings, weekends and holidays, yet still feel behind....

Often the problem isn't definitely not due to a lack of effort.
It's a lack of capacity.

There comes a point where the answer isn't another productivity hack, another app or another notebook, but human hands-on help.

The most productive thing you can do is stop trying to do everything yourself.

One of the funny things about being a PA is the number of hats you end up wearing.

Depending on where you find me, I'll be carrying a different identity... I spend my days supporting brilliant businesses behind the scenes, so I often appear on different websites, in different team photos and in different company clothing too.

To the outside world, it might look like I have multiple identities. In reality, I'm simply trusted to become part of a client's team, adapting to their way of working and helping keep things moving.

Trust, discretion and flexibility are a huge part of the role, and it's a privilege to be welcomed into so many different businesses.

Professional shapeshifter? Perhaps 😊 It's one of the reasons I love what I do.

A little throwback to the May Bank Holiday weekend and Medway Sunlight Rotary's fabulous Dragon Boat Race team raising money for We Are Beams 💜

The last month has been a bit of a whirlwind with client work, networking, fundraising and some much needed family time, including a break in beautiful Norfolk.

Since getting back, I've looked back through my camera roll and realised just how much has been packed into such a short space of time. This photo is just one of many great memories from a very busy few weeks.

No wonder the days are flying by!

Yesterday we completed the Abergavenny Three Peaks ⛰️🙌

Absolutely gruelling at times, but awesome all at once…. Sugar Loaf (hell on earth), Skirrid Fawr & Blorenge all conquered alongside the brilliant Kim & Roland as part of the Dragon Coworking crew 🐉💪

This was actually my birthday treat to myself this year… slightly questionable decision making in hindsight during some of the climbs 🤣 but honestly such an amazing experience and one I’m really proud to have completed.

Very achey legs today, but so worth it knowing it was all in aid of charity ❤️

If anyone would still like to sponsor, there’s still time and every penny genuinely means a lot: https://www.justgiving.com/page/dragoncoworking?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL&fbclid=IwdGRjcARzsZ1leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEe-yKW3U_N0noFvLU3-2w_CByPvgcLUUMEwikxN0y-1RvNI22moCpP5FQmcZM_aem_3NSuTgpSHGcLn56NCY9D9Q

🙏 Feeling humbled x

I’ve been going to The Rookie CEO for the past year and if you haven’t been yet and want networking that’s a little different, you should definitely come along to try it out.

I’ve genuinely met some brilliant people I now call friends, made, business connection and every event leaves me with something valuable to take away. The mix of technical and mindset speakers means there’s always something useful to learn.

Also, there's no long term subscriptions or huge ticket prices either. Just a one off fee of less than £6.50 that goes straight to charity.

Take a look at what eveyone else says 👀https://www.facebook.com/share/r/197jEkqnzA/

This all still feels very relevant & I can totally relate.

A lot of operations support is simply refining as you go, improving processes one step at a time & finding better ways of working along the way. It definitely doesn’t happen overnight… it’s been baby steps all the way for me.

Business owners, you’ve got this 💪

Hashing it out! 📝

It might be messy, but sometimes that’s what building better systems looks like. Post-it notes, scribbles, changing my mind halfway through...

Where ideas become plans, and plans turn into smoother workflows for my clients.

Doing what I do isn’t just about ticking tasks off a list — it’s about making things easier, more efficient and actually workable for real people running real businesses! ✅

Sometimes, that starts standing at a whiteboard, pulling it all apart so we can rebuild it smarter.

Alas! Messy is good.

You don’t need a full time hire.
You just need a bit of breathing space.

There comes a point where it’s not that you can’t do the work…
it’s just that you probably shouldn’t be doing all of it anymore.

The follow ups, the admin, the bits that eat your day.

And then that thought kicks in… “I can only afford a few hours a week.”

So you leave it.
Carry on as you are.
Keep juggling.

But here's a little golden nugget for you... a few hours of the right support can make a big difference.

A bit more headspace.
A bit more focus.
A bit more time to actually move things forward.

And suddenly it’s not just about getting through the week…
it starts to feel like things are working with you again. 🌈
