Being able to count to 10 doesn't necessarily mean a child understands number.

A child might confidently recite:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10…

But do they understand quantity?

Can they accurately count a group of objects?

Can they compare two groups?

Do they know which has more or fewer?

What happens when another one is added?

💷 If I followed your EYPP funding from start to finish… what story would it tell me?

Would I see a clear journey?

A child with an identified barrier.

A decision about how best to support them.
⬇️
EYPP funding used with purpose.

A measurable difference for that child.

Or would the trail stop at…

❌ “We bought some resources.”

EYPP is so much more than deciding what to spend the money on.

As leaders, we need to be asking:

✅ Why did this child need additional support?
✅ Why did we choose this particular approach?
✅ How are we monitoring whether it’s working?
✅ What has actually changed as a result?
