999 | Emergency Services Day 🚨09.09

Today we’re saying thank you to the people who answer the call:
police, fire, ambulance, and coastguard.

Often at a moment’s notice, often in difficult conditions, always showing up.

At AEC Protection, we work alongside emergency services regularly as part of what we do, and it’s a partnership we don’t take for granted.

Our MD, Aidan is also an on-call firefighter at Romsey Fire Station with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, so this one means a bit more to us.

To everyone on the frontline: thank you for what you do.

Today is International Security Officers’ Day and we say Thank You 🛡️

Thank you to the men and women of AEC Protection and all Security Professionals who work tirelessly to keep our communities, events, and premises safe.

But security work goes way beyond what you see on the surface.

Our officers respond to medical emergencies, they de-escalate conflicts, they provide comfort to people in distress. Their role means they make split-second decisions under pressure. They work 24/7 when others are sleeping.

There are nearly three times as many security operatives in the UK as there are police officers. We’re often the first responders, tackling situations head on.

We proud to work with a brilliant team of Security Officers here at AEC. Thank you for all that you do to keep our events, our stadiums and our clients safe.

London Marathon 2027: Supporting Those Who Served 🏃‍♂️🏃🏼‍♀️🇬🇧

In April 2027, Aidan, our Managing Director and Lizzie, Head of Operations are taking on the TCS London Marathon together to raise money for the The Royal British Legion, a charity that’s incredibly close to their hearts as Army Reservists.

The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support to serving personnel, veterans and their families - financial assistance, recovery services, mental and physical health support, employment advice, housing support and so much more.

Training for and completing the Marathon will be a huge challenge. But knowing every mile raises funds for the Armed Forces community they’ve dedicated their lives to serving makes it worth it🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️

🩸Mid way through FREC3 this week and as promised here are some images straight from the classroom.

Here are our students getting to grips with how to act on external and catastrophic bleeds; stabbings, gunshot wounds…

⛑️All of our scenarios and practicals simulate real life ‘stop the bleed’ training. This hands-on, high-level training prepares our students for real emergency situations.

The students are building towards in-depth, scenario based practical skills tests and assessments later this week. Stay tuned to see more!
