Jamie & Christina ❤️💚

What a beautiful, colourful, joy filled day this was! ✨ It was so magical celebrating these two, surrounded by nature, tucked away amongst the trees, with love, laughter and the happiest of guests filling the day from beginning to end.

I loved getting to know them and the journey of their love, turning it into their bespoke poem and then seeing just how much their guests loved hearing their story unfold in a completely unique and unexpected way.

Sometimes forever begins with a single photograph.

Over a decade ago, Eedris came across a photograph of Alishia. He saw an African queen in an African dress and knew he had to know the woman behind the captivating smile. What followed was patience, deep friendship and two people who discovered they’d found home in each other.

On Saturday, at the beautiful Grassfield Hall, I had the privilege of telling that story as they became husband and wife.

Every part of their day was so thoughtfully curated. It was elegant, heartfelt and completely them. Having their closest family standing beside them as bridesmaids and best men made every moment even more meaningful. Together with their family and friends, they created one of the warmest, most welcoming atmospheres I’ve had the privilege of experiencing. I found myself lingering a little longer than I usually do because it was one of those weddings you simply didn’t want to leave.

Alishia & Eedris, thank you for choosing me to be your celebrant and for trusting me with your story. Being part of your journey has been an absolute joy.

May God richly bless your marriage, and may the love you share today continue to be the place your hearts always call home. 🤍
