Running a business can be incredibly rewarding, but working on your own can also feel like a lonely place.

Today is World Mental Health Day, I wanted to remind business owners that working alone doesn’t mean you have to face every challenge alone, but sometimes it can feel very lonely.

Here in South Yorkshire, we have such a strong and supportive network of business owners. People who understand the pressures, the uncertainty, the long hours and the responsibility that comes with running a business.

Sometimes, simply speaking to someone who understands can make a real difference. So, check in with the business owners around you, share your experiences and don’t be afraid to ask for support when you need it.

We might each run our own businesses, but we can still support one another.
