It's been a while since my last post - it was a crazy summer, wasn't it? Now I've got a little more time to catch up and thought I'd start with sharing this client testimonial.

It was with a tinge of sadness that my first ever VA contract came to an end last month, but at the same time, I was immensely proud to have made a valuable contribution to the company for the duration of my contract. One of the perks of being and having a Virtual Assistant is that I can and we do work anywhere ... ?

This morning as my car was being given some TLC at the garage I caught up on client emails, a little bit of diary management, processed some invoices, organised some interviews, confirmed a date for a lunch meeting and caught up on some LinkedIn messages ... all while waiting for my car to be fixed from the comfort of the client waiting area!

I attended my first BNI Breakfast Meeting this week with the amazing Fitzwilliam Cambridge Chapter. I was given a very warm and friendly welcome, met some interesting people, spoke a little about my photography and VA businesses ... and was treated to cupcakes!!!

Its been a while since I've updated my feed / the grid ... apologies friends, followers and clients but its been a busy couple of months; here's a highlight ...

Back in April with my collective Event Planner & Photographer hat on, I had an absolute ball bringing together a group of 20 of the wedding industry's finest in a styled shoot.

From venue research to model bookings, timelines, shot lists, and hand picking the most amazing group of suppliers and shoot partners - it was an unbelievable day and I am so grateful to everyone who took part.

Some think that Styled Shoots are not "events" in the truest sense - please let me reassure you, they are!

Another exciting collaboration is happening right now at AMVA HQ as we near completion of another brand new, fresh and beautiful looking website for an utterly brilliant business woman Kelly Marie.

I met Kelly Marie last year when I was photographing a wedding and she was the H&MUA for the bridal party. We clicked straight away, and this will be the second website design and build project that we have worked on together.

Kelly's passion for excellence and delivering a faultless service to her clients is exceptional, and her endless drive for her work, her knowledge and business mindset is an inspiration! I can't wait to complete this build and to watch Kelly's second business go from strength to strength!

For the last few weeks I have been working closely with my good friend and fellow business-woman, Debbie Watt as together we have created a brand new, modern and fresh website for her business.

Together, Debbie and I have worked into the small hours, exchanged 2am WhatsApp messages, given each other moral support and encouragement and though the mechanics of this build are AMVA - the design, content and passion is a collective, combined team effort!

We're edging closer to the site being published .... so please watch this space!
