Matt Rhys-Roberts Design & Development

I am a time served electronics engineer and technician, skilled in the design, development, faultfinding, and repair of electronic and mechanical assemblies. I offer dedicated project management down to individual skills training and coaching. Over the last decade, my many mixed signal PCB designs for the analytical chemistry and gas detection sectors have gone into successful mass production for

worldwide distribution. My employment has included BBC and ITV, recording studios, transport informatics, aerospace, military microwave/RF communications, mass spectrometry, and environmental monitoring. I am currently developing an affordable automated test environment for the quality assurance of a huge variety of electronic sub-assemblies and products. Also, a performance-optimising control system for a special furnace is on the drawing board. Microcontroller & embedded development experience includes 6063, Z80, 6502, Microchip, Atmel, Arduino, Raspberry Pi. Coding includes assembler, C/C++, VB, Python, Qt, and growing.
