Not the sticky filmy sort you pop on your phone (hopefully without air bubbles) but the tougher sort. In this case the sort that protects your expensive gear from the rigors of live gigging.

In the latter half of last year we were contacted by artist Isabella Martin to see if we could help with laser cutting the parts for an installation she was creating.

The concept was 'dandelion clocks' - quite literally - which involved dandelion shapes drawn by kids mounted on motors to literally turn like clocks. A great idea.

Isabella provided the shapes and they were laser cut from 3mm ply and painted to the RAL colours Isabella requested. Here's how they turned out...
