On the 11th September our referral marketing group (in Rugby) is having a visitors day with a twist - Bring a 'D' Day - so if your name begins with 'D' or you're prepared to play along and come disguised as a 'D' then please message me and come along as my visitor.

We've only just said, "Happy New Year!"

And we're already on the second payroll.

We all know the year is running out so quickly,

At about past 19:00 yesterday,

we received a call about someone locked in one of our client's buildings.

We swung into action and had the stranded individual out, then alarmed the building.

Having a "Private Property" sign alone may not deter unwanted parking.

As some people always have a genuine reason for trespassing.

This act can be particularly disturbing when you live

Or do business in an isolated area like a farm.

Here is an advice we gave a client

That may benefit your business:

¬ Get restricted parking signs.
¬ Make them visible to all trespassers.

Unauthorised and even overnight parking can cause you unwanted distress

And potentially pose a threat to your business.

AI speeds up processes, including criminal activities.

But how does this impact the physical security industry when it comes to cybercrime?

We've seen AI used to trick people using deepfake videos.

However, with cybersecurity, the danger can be big, causing unimaginable harm.

Imagine an attack on your remote security transmission process.

This means a criminal getting the same info you get from your CCTV, home cameras, and doorbell access.

We all know these things happen. But with AI, the problem could be much bigger.

So, you should:

¬ Check your login logs to see if any other computers have access to your remote security apps.
¬ Use anti-malware and internet security systems.
¬ Regularly test your devices for vulnerabilities.
