Select Security has acquired a wealth of construction industry experience in the 20 years that we’ve been providing Construction Security. Which makes us the first-choice security company for many of the UK’s top building contractors.

Over the last few-years we have maintained our construction presence working on major commercial sites in the North-West and beyond – This includes the New Mersey Crossing, The Royal Liverpool Hospital), the A566 Bypass, the converter stations at Flintshire Bridge in North Wales; Hunterston in Scotland and Sandwich in Kent, as well as the largest prison in Europe – HMP Berwyn Wrexham.

At Select Security, we are pleased to offer a range of electronic security solutions alongside our manned guarding, including fixed and portable CCTV, solar powered CCTV, CCTV towers, remote monitoring, and other perimeter safeguards.

We use video analytics to detect intruders and record all activity on site with offsite monitoring at our 24-hour control centre. We can also utilise a site wide PA system to deter any intruders, again controlled from our control centre.

All cameras will be colour/mono low light IP 4mp units and we fit them at your direction to provide video coverage to general site areas and the fence line. We have our own highly experienced Technical Managers who are able to design systems exactly to your requirements.

At Select Security we know that our Security Officers are some of the best. All our Officers are fully trained, discreet and professional, providing our clients with first-class security every time.

We’ve supplied security for national and global blue-chip companies including Associated British Foods, Buffaload, Arconic and North-West Farmers, as well as several Local Authorities and Health Trusts. We’ve been the security provider for Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport since 2009.

Any activity on site will be dealt with calmly and professionally by our Officers as well as being monitored through our 24-hour control room based at Runcorn. To compliment this we also have a comprehensive fleet of mobile supervisors who not only visit each site per shift, but are also cross trained and able to respond to any incidents or alarms that may arise.

We have offices in Nantwich, Runcorn and Wrexham, and are fully accredited with the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and all our officers are fully licensed.

Due to the increase in work we need security officers in the following areas:-

- Event Security Stewards in the Cheshire/Merseyside area £10-£12 per hour

- Security Guards for several sites in Cheshire and Liverpool

- Door Supervisors needed for licensed premises during the evenings at weekends (need a Door Supervisor licence)

All officers will need to hold current Security Industry Authority licences, with the exception of event stewards.

We are looking for a new member of staff to take on the role of Weekend Security Officer.

We are looking for a permanent weekend guard who will work Saturdays and Sunday days every week at one of our prestigious sites in Crewe, Cheshire. There is also opportunity for overtime when other officers are taking holidays.

It would be of benefit is you have gatehouse experience dealing with booking in and out of HGV's. You will be fully trained for any role we ask of you, you will be provided with uniform. You MUST have a SIA security licence in either security guarding or door supervision.

All shifts on the site are 12 hours and we cover days, nights and weekends.
The site is on Gateway in Crewe near to the railway station.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £10.20 per hour
