Put this date in your diaries everyone.
Saturday 27th July 2024 - 10am - 4pm

Why you might ask? Because that is the day that at CHESTER CATHEDRAL The North-West Group of Metal Detecting Clubs is holding a FREE Treasures Unearthed Exhibition of Metal Detecting Discoveries.

My own club i.e. The South-Lancs & Cheshire Metal Detecting Club will have a big display on there and quite a few members will be there, including myself, to answer any questions you might have about our treasures on display. See the leaflets below.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to UK Detector NET for their generous donation of Β£1,000.

The UK’s largest online metal detecting forum, formed by Brian & Mo’ Cross, have held their annual Christmas Draw to raise funds for Macmillan.

Top prize this year, was an XP Deus metal detector worth a staggering Β£1,200! The Draw was extremely well subscribed to and at the end of the day, raised an incredible Β£1000.00!

Sarah Page, Cheshire Fundraising Manager, met with Brian & Mo’ to pick up the cheque and thank them in person for their continued support.

Brian & Mo’ want to say a big β€œThank You” to all the manufacturers, dealers and individual detectorists that made the draw possible by donating prizes and of course want to thank everyone at UK DETECTOR NET for their incredible support in helping raise this fantastic sum for a very worthy cause.

Thank you Brian & Mo' from all at Macmillan Cancer Support.
