Although beautiful this Ash tree had very much outgrown this small garden in Saffron Walden. Spanning over next door, garden studio and garages behind, our customer was beginning to get concerned of the risk it may pose if left to its own devices. Obviously not wanting to lose the tree, we decided it would benefit from a 30% crown reduction to keep it strong, healthy and well mantained for many more years to come.

After what feels like nine months of rain…spring seems to of finally sprung! After all the wet and now the glorious sunshine the growing season is in full effect. All the trees are in full leaf with some even in flower, now is the perfect time to get out and enjoy all the vibrance and colour. We’ve certainly been enjoying helping our customers maintain their beautiful gardens. Our day in 3 minutes

We’ve been continuing to manage an area of local woodland. Sadly Dutch Elm Disease continues to kill off so many as soon as they reach a decent size. We’ve started to clear these dead trees before they begin to cause too much of a risk and fall over. Suitable trunks are going to be reused on site as natural posts and the rest as firewood.
