The Hearth x flockhere 🥳

I’m really excited to announce a new flockhere Residency at The Hearth!!

The Hearth is a beautiful women’s coworking space in Queen’s Park and exactly the kind of place I always hoped flockhere would partner with.

When I started flockhere, the idea was simple: women working flexibly should have more choice over where they work and more opportunities to connect with each other in real life, think of it as a flexible working passport that gives you access to places and people

These residencies are how we’re starting to make that happen.

We’ll be hosting small coworking pop-ups at The Hearth where you can step away from working at home and spend the day alongside other brilliant women doing their thing.

It’s a chance to work intentionally for a few hours, get through the things you’ve been putting off, make progress on your business or projects, and do it in a space where everyone else is focused too.

As part of flockhere, you’ll also get access to The Hearth beyond the meet-ups, with member perks that make it easier to drop in and work from the space when you need to.

We’ve been doing it all wrong 😑

It’s not about managing our time, it’s about managing our energy.

I keep speaking to people who feel like they’re failing this month, not “smashing it,” not being visible, (not posting on here..... 🤪 ) not making big goals, and that’s okay.

Like I keep saying, we’re still in winter. It’s okay to still be hibernating, quietly working behind the scenes on stuff.

January is tough. It’s cold, dark, most probably your kids have been off school 🤢 and suddenly all the plans you make feel impossible.

It’s a reminder that our energy ebbs and flows, and sometimes you need to change up your routine, shift your environment, and work in bursts to get things moving again.

Yesterday, that’s exactly what I did at our meet-up at the brand spanking new coworking space in St Albans, . We got some work done, laughed ALOT, and just felt the difference a bit of human connection and a change of scene can make to your working week.

Back to work, but make it less lonely.

If you work from home, January can feel like a reset moment.

We’ve been in the house for weeks, (hello left over 🧀) and instead of falling straight back into old habits, this feels like a good moment to start the year differently.

flockhere is about building micro-communities for women who work from home, helping you find great places to work from and people to work alongside.
