Village Hotel x Twenty-Two's Colourful Partnership! 🎨

This week Amanda and Rachel partnered up with the wonderful team from Village Hotel Club London Elstree to support Sunnyside Rural Trust.

This volunteer painting project brought so much energy, teamwork and positivity to the site - a perfect example of how corporate volunteering can strengthen communities and bring people together.

A huge thank you to Wickes for generously donating all the materials and paint as part of their Community Programme. Your support helped make this project possible and ensured our teams could create a lasting impact...one lick of paint at a time! ✨

Community partnerships like this show what can be achieved when businesses come together to make a difference. 💛

P.S. We can confirm no cars were painted green during the process! 🤣

This week's rooftop visit to the One YMCA Peartree Campus was a reminder that wellbeing and learning can happen in the most unexpected places. 🐝

Huge thank you to Heidi Cuffaro for showing us how these tiny pollinators play a mighty role in our local circular economy. From those little pollen‑covered legs to the honey they produce, every part of the hive supports something bigger than itself.

It was the perfect pause in a busy week - time to breathe, reconnect, and appreciate how small actions create meaningful impact. Something our team values deeply. 💙

Last week our work in the beauty industry and charity sector collided in the most meaningful way. 💙

We visited Look Good Feel Better, a charity running confidence‑boosting workshops across the UK to help people manage the visible side effects of cancer treatment.

🌟 An incredible 1,400 workshops run
🌟 Around 1,200 volunteers supported
🌟 Over 30 years of impact

We joined one of their beauty workshops filled with skincare and makeup products - from cleansers to concealers - all donated, all different, making every bag completely unique. 💄

It’s a reminder of the real impact beauty brands can have.

In just two hours, a small group of women were able to lose themselves for a moment, reconnect with confidence, and feel seen....looking good and feeling better.

And it doesn’t stop at beauty. Their programmes also support men's skincare, nutrition and wellbeing - because cancer doesn’t discriminate.

A powerful example of what happens when the corporate connections within the beauty industry and community come together. ✨💛

What a brilliant morning we had yesterday connecting with local businesses at Amazon.com’s LTN5 Print on Demand facility in Dunstable! 📦✨

With over 100 staff on site, it was inspiring to see the scale, precision and innovation that goes into bringing books to life - and to hear how much Amazon invests in equity, diversity and inclusion across the team.

From accessible pathways into employment to celebrating the diversity of their workforce, it’s clear that EDI isn’t a side project… it’s embedded in how they operate. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

All that new potential just 22 miles (of course) from our doorstep - a reminder of how much opportunity sits close to home!

Huge thank you to Rachel Grieve for the insightful tour and to Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce for bringing people together to share ideas, opportunities and a real sense of community. 🌍
