Orange vs Yellow – Which should you choose? 🚧🤔

It’s the age-old question in the trade: Orange or Yellow? While both keep you visible, the "correct" choice usually depends on where you’re standing.

The Comparison:

🟡 Fluorescent Yellow (The All-Rounder)

Best For: General construction, warehousing, and roadworks.

Why? It is the brightest colour to the human eye under most light conditions.

The Catch: It can occasionally blend into bright green foliage or rural backgrounds in the height of summer.

🟠 Fluorescent Orange (The Specialist)

Best For: Rail (Network Rail), sea fog environments, and quarrying.

Why? Orange provides the strongest contrast against "busy" backgrounds like green fields or grey stone.
