On this rainy Thursday, we’re loading the now-painted Shornmead FRP Legacy Footbridge, designed, and manufactured by Taziker.

This isn’t your typical Network Rail structure, the entire bridge is manufactured from FRP sections to form a long-lasting, durable alternative to steel. We were contracted to apply a fluoropolymer coating to all external surfaces of the bridge, further enhancing the structure's durability and UV resistance.

As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, we are taking the NLW team on a go-karting event on 20th October 2023.

We’ll be open as normal from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for deliveries and collections on the day, but unavailable past this time.

Last year, we restored over 20 cast iron bench ends for St Helens Council. They are now basking in the summer sun in front of the Town Hall!

Last week we bid farewell to the 28m-long Lady Anne Footbridge! Along with another 12m footbridge, landing and support steelwork. This project is due for installation by Taziker in Batley later this month.

✅ Full Network Rail N1 Protective Coating System (including thermally sprayed aluminium).

✅ Anti-graffiti clear coat lacquer applied over the coating system to help with the maintenance of the span.

✅ Permagrip PU pedestrian-grade anti-slip surfacing applied to the deck surface on all sections.

This beloved garden sculpture has been blast cleaned by our surface preparation team. From a 15-tonne bridge to a small garden sculpture, we treat all our jobs with the same care and attention.
