A strong result at a contested hearing 🙌

Earlier this year, we secured a new premises licence for Sunshine Restaurant, Bar and Bistro Habesha.

The application was granted despite objections from Public Health, a local resident and Councillors.

The Harehills Lane business is now open and trading, and it’s great to see everything up and running.

We recently secured a 24-hour premises licence for Liscard Stop & Shop on Wallasey Road, with the application granted smoothly and no hearing required.

A good example of how a well-prepared application, along with a sensible and constructive approach, can help move things forward efficiently.

Another strong result at a recent hearing ✔️

We secured an extension to the premises licence, allowing trading from 11pm through to 1am Sunday to Thursday, and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.

Despite objections from Cllr Small and several local residents, a well-prepared approach and positive dialogue with the Police helped achieve the right outcome at the hearing.

A great setting for the hearing as well – always good to see these important decisions taking place in such an impressive space.

A well-prepared approach ensured a strong result at a recent hearing at Liverpool Town Hall!

We secured a Late Night Refreshment licence until 4am for Chesters Chicken, Smithdown Road, following a Council hearing – achieved despite objections from a local councillor.

Chesters is a great little spot, known for its food and service, and this approval allows the business to continue growing.

Spring Bank Holiday is one of the busiest weekends of the year 🍻

For many venues, it’s a key opportunity for longer hours, higher footfall, and increased offerings.

It’s also a time when licensing needs to be firmly in place to make the most of it.

A Temporary Event Notice ensures you are compliant. A bit of preparation now can save you from hot water later on – but you must act in time.

A great result at a recent hearing, with a new premises licence granted for our client in Warrington 👏

The application attracted objections from local residents, but we were pleased to successfully navigate the process and achieve a positive outcome on the day.
