So we went to test out the map I designed for the new sculpture trail in Buile Hill Park for My daughter Sophie loved it. Scan the QR codes on the sculptures for the interpretation about them, a good bit of local history there and really informative. For children and adults alike.

Monty's was a small independent restaurant situated in a rapidly gentrifying urban locale. The restaurant was to bring a new casual dining offer to the area. The branding had to encapsulate the cultural heritage of the immediate area which holds rich connections to popular culture. The project heralded the return of casual dining to the area that had become run down. The restaurant had to be a celebration of local creativity to spark aspirations for the area's potential in the present and warmly remember its past.
The food offering from the business was simple and indulgent and the budget was always a factor, the wordmark was simply rubber stamped into plain recycled boxes, the interior of the restaurant was dark and tasteful, one wall was adorned by a floor to ceiling collage of local popular culture icons such as Shelagh Delany, and Mark E Smith. These images were run through an architect's plotter to create a grunge effect and simply pasted to the wall. I was very proud to be the owner of this business and to be in charge of the marketing and branding of the project. I sold the business as a family decision but I miss it every day.

are a an Instagram account documenting a classic VW camper van converted by the now defunct company Campmobil. On the account we can follow the adventures of Paweł and his family in Scandinavia and beyond.
Paweł tasked us with reimagining the account profile image. We felt it necessary to look beyond this and deliver a brand identity suitable for a lifestyle brand. The plan is to bring their adventures to a wider audience and help the family to connect with like minded families in Sweden and beyond.

Great news that Buile Hill Mansion Association have now signed a memorandum of understanding with Salford council. Repairs to ensure the structural integrity of the mansion are now underway.
The association have been working on their own time to build this momentum in maintaining our local heritage, I share their passion as a native Salfordian, I reached out to them via social media when they were looking for help to redesign the tree trail map and combine it with a map for a new lottery funded sculpture trail wich was researched and implemented by BHMA The launch of the trail is imminent and the map will soon be available to download on the BHMA website.
The tree trail had to be adapted due to loss of trees due to endemic diseases, this was happening during the design process so the map had to be agile in its design to stay correct and fit for purpose.
I will post some pics of the trail as soon as the sculptures are all in. The sculptures have been chosen to reflect local fauna and also more grandly the mansions previous existence as Salford’s Natural History Museum.
