BE SEEN. MAKE CONNECTIONS.
FIND OPPORTUNITIES. BUILD BETTER BUSINESS
Due to many of our members being away, we have decided to extend our early bird offer for Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce members until next week.

On Wednesday 30 September, Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce will bring together around 60 businesses for the South Wiltshire Business Festival at City Hall – a major day of business, opportunity, inspiration and connections.

The Festival will be officially opened at 9.00am by John Glen MP, followed by a packed programme of inspirational speakers, practical Building Your Business sessions and opportunities to meet businesses and decision-makers from across Salisbury and South Wiltshire.

REAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
We are creating opportunities for Chamber members to meet organisations that actually want to work with local businesses.

MEET THE BUYER – SALISBURY NHS FOUNDATION TRUST

In a special members-only session, the Trust will discuss opportunities for local suppliers as it prepares for around Β£80 million of investment in its new diagnostic hub and associated works over the coming years.

This is a rare opportunity to hear directly about what may be required and how local businesses can position themselves to become part of that investment.

SALISBURY 800

Salisbury City Council will outline plans and opportunities surrounding Salisbury 800 – one of the most important celebrations for our city in generations – and discuss where local businesses may be able to become involved.

SALISBURY REDS

Hear directly from Salisbury Reds about their important role within our local economy, their work and the opportunities they can offer local businesses.

And there will be much more throughout the day

YOUR BUSINESS - RIGHT AT THE HEART OF IT
Our Early Bird Chamber Member Rate is just Β£250 +VAT, including:

Your own 2m x 2m exhibition space

PRINCIPAL SPONSOR – GRIST ENVIRONMENTAL

We are delighted that Grist Environmental is our Principal Sponsor – particularly fitting for a Business Festival because their environmental and waste-management services are relevant to virtually every business in our community.

The commemoration will take place at the War Memorial on the Guildhall Square, remembering the thousands of British, Commonwealth and Allied personnel who served and sacrificed during the war in the Far East and the Pacific.

VJ Day marks the surrender of Japan on 15 August 1945, bringing the Second World War effectively to an end after six years of conflict. It is an opportunity to remember not only those who lost their lives, but also the veterans and families who endured the terrible experiences of the Far East campaigns and captivity.

The Salisbury commemoration is being organised by the Royal British Legion, with the support of Salisbury City Council, and is open to everyone.
