At CEF, we’re always proud to support the communities we work in. Our branch teamed up with our long-standing customer, Wessex Electrical, to donate a set of new benches to The Orchard in Nunton, a much-loved sheltered housing community offering 22 bungalows for local residents.

We visited the site to hand over the benches in person, joined by two of the residents and Carolyn Taylor, who manages the scheme. The warm welcome said it all. The Orchard has recently had a brand-new patio installed especially for these benches, and the residents couldn’t wait to put them to good use.

The Orchard already has a beautiful shared garden, and we’re pleased we could add something that encourages people to spend more time outdoors together, whether that’s catching up with neighbours or simply enjoying a bit of fresh air.

A huge thank-you to Wessex Electricals for partnering with us on this. Community projects like these are always a team effort, and it’s great to see the difference a simple gesture can make.
