We bring this convenient service to your parlour where work is carried out inside a specially converted workshop van 2sharpen (Dog Groomer Support Specialist)

We also support the following:

** Equestrian Clippering needs (Clipper Servicing and Blade Sharpening)
** Commercial and Domestic Knife Sharpening
** Garden Tools Sharpening. As a Dog Groomer Business Operator myself, and having built up and converted multiple Dog Grooming Vans and Parlours from scratch, i have been through, and seen, just about every aspect of the struggles Dog Groomers face in their everyday chosen careers. Over this time i have seen the obvious struggles Dog Groomers face in getting the correct guidence and time efficient support in their equipment maintenence and sharpening services for their blades.

*It was obvious that what's needed is more than the need to simply have a sharpening support service. With this in mind, i have further extended my knowledge over the past 10 years or so, with carefully chosen support and training, to put together the ultimate support service that treats your business and you in the way that you care for your customers and their dogs. *Giving that little more that sets you apart*. With a DOG GROOMER SUPPORT SESSION, 2sharpen can listen to your struggles, correct any equipment failings your having to work with and make sure your Clippers, Clipper Blades, Scissors and other Dog Grooming Equipment is working smoothly and as efficiently as you and your K9 clients both need. All work is carried out in our Mobile Van Workshop, but Occasionally items may need more work or parts than we are able to sort on site and where this is the case all options will be looked at and fully discussed to make sure minimal disruption is caused.

Wow, what a busy few weeks that’s been. And a big thank you to everyone that’s invited me to assist them with all sorts of challenges.

Last week was very much a dryer week having serviced 6, with double k being the most popular.

I’m now planning various areas for the coming weeks and if you’ve already been in touch, there’s just a few I’m still trying to organise, so bare with me.

If you’re needing to get your equipment back in tip top condition, ready for the rush again, feel free to reach out whether an existing customer or a potential new.

Plymouth based groomers, don’t forget you get a discounted rate, those quite a bit further away, please check with me if there’s any additional charges to standard. This may be the case in our current climate of high fuel costs.

For most it will be standard pricing as always which can be found in my posts.

Currently putting together a trip to deepest Cornwall and another to north Devon, as-well as the usual Plymouth, st Austell, Truro, Newquey, Paignton and torquey areas, and all that surround.

When you get that panic call to say a dryer has suddenly stopped working, and you arrive to assess, but find this 😳

It did make me chuckle a little tbh, as is a regular customer I’ve been helping for some time now,
(you know who you are 😉), and each groomer in this parlour thought the other was taking care of it.

Sometimes, these things simply get overlooked, but boy was this poor dryer struggling. 🥲🚑

The brushes had been pushed to their limit and finally it gave out.

Fortunately I had everything needed and a short time later, it was back up and running with a big sigh of relief, from the dryer as well as the groomers.

Not all equipment servicing is good servicing, unfortunately.

This is an issue I come across on a weekly basis. Where a customer has entrusted a company to help them maintain equipment, but they’ve simply ruined it instead. 🙈

For trusted servicing with no compromise on standards and parts, feel free to reach out, if you think somethings not right, you’re often correct, whether it be clippers, scissors, clipper blades or dryers.

(dryer repairs are a bonus service for regular customers rather than one off visits. Sorry).

another groomers dryer serviced along with clippers and sharpening of blades for a regular customer who’s enjoying some well earned time off, and another groomer still slogging away but getting ready for a week off.
Beginning to think I’m missing out now 🤦‍♂️

Still, all good for them to get cracking when back. 👍✂️
