While Race for Life is over there is a new event coming to Ivybridge, with Relay for Life Plymouth

Relay for Life Plymouth are please to host Shine Ivybridge. This will take place on Friday 11th September 2026 starting with a warm up at 7pm and then around 7:30pm we will set off all walkers around a approximately 5km route of Ivybridge at dusk.

Supported by local groups and organisations positioned along the route, we hope we will see our community come together to light up our streets.

Walk for loved ones. Walk for future generations. Walk for hope. Walk with friends old and new to raise vital funds for life-saving research. In the last 50 years, we’ve helped double cancer survival in the UK. Help us power more progress. 💜

Last week had the privilege of spending time with the dogs at rottie_friends_rescue . Jet the super friendly Chow went back from foster, to be castrated and meet potential new home. Had playtime with Digby 17 week old Rottie x Mastiff, frightened little lad but given time to get used to you will give you a wash and be your friend . Then met Bluebell an absolute cuddle monster and just wants to be loved, She’s a mastiff mix, who is going back with the fabulous Anna for a few weeks foster.
