This morning, before my son and I travelled back home from our London reunion, my friend and I left our children sleeping and went for a walk.

​She has been there since the very start of me being a mum, and we walked the route where I used to push my baby boy in his pram.

​Back then I was in a proper sink or swim situation, doing the only thing I knew how to do, which was keep moving. Eventually I moved away. At the time, it felt like the only option.

However, I am so grateful that we still have friends that feel like family, in the place we used to call home.

​The swans were out on the water the way they always were. I love a swan. I love the grace of them, the poise, the way they move across the water like the whole thing costs them nothing.

​And I love that it isn't true. Every bit of that calm is built on the work happening underneath where nobody is watching, and they never once make a performance of it.

​I had some difficult news this week about someone I hold in enormous respect, and I have been thinking of them the whole journey home.

They are one of those rare people who moves through this journey of life with pure grace. Effortless on the surface, but quietly giving so much strength and generosity to everyone around them, even now.

​I feel blessed to be surrounded by people who emulate this every day.

If I can leave you with one golden nugget from this random post, it is to check on the ones paddling hard beneath the surface, and to remember that nothing matters quite as much as the legacy of how you made people feel in this short space of time that has been gifted to you.

Bringing in my 50s 🎊

From Day 1 in a Yurt, to a random (but not) Day 5 in a villa; it has been all kinds of magical ✨️

Time stood still, and I really can't believe how much we squeezed in 💥

Thank you to and for your hospitality, a Lions Gate experience that I am still processing ✨️ and the delicious rainbow meals served with care and love 🌈 Our treatments, and the love from all the animals 🐩🐈🐈‍⬛️ I am going to miss the Yurt 🥹

Having the most star aligned chance meeting, with one of my oldest and dearest friends as we walked into Pikes ✨️

Seeing in my 50th at the stroke of midnight underneath the disco ball 🪩with people I hold very close to my heart ❤️

The walks, the beaches, the love, the tears, the healing, the eating, the dancing, the connection, the syncronicities...

Memories that will last forever!

Thank you for helping me celebrate 50 years of spinning on this planet (the brucey surprise bonus, and Day 5 villa host 🙏🏾✨️)

Giving a proper shout out today to the wonderful Pollyanna England ❤️

I've been having Belief Coding sessions with her, and the theme that keeps coming up for me, over and over, is safety.

It's wild how far back it goes. Childhood memories, old friendship groups, family dynamics, relationships, work, all circling back to the same root.

I've had more stories made up about me over the years than I can count. And one of the biggest shifts in all of this has been accepting that even when they're not real, they're a mirror to the person sharing them, not to me.

But between that and the hurdles I've had to overcome, I'd shrink myself down without even realising it. I just want to finally be free to be me.

I've done a lot of this kind of work over the years, across a lot of different modalities. This is one of the few that's actually moving something.

Pollyanna's been patient and intuitive throughout, letting each session go wherever it needs to go rather than forcing it anywhere.

If any of this sounds familiar, go and talk to her. She's worth your time.
