Happy Halloween from the team at Hydromar. This year we thought we’d really highlight how our waterjets can cut almost any material.

It’s been a great week so far, despite the heat! The team has been incredibly hard at work producing jobs for a range of industries, from commercial lighting parts, to bespoke fireplaces, electrical cabinet components to parts for the aerospace industry. Mostly though they’ve been knocking out kits for boats, it seems the marine industry on the Isle of Wight is really booming at the moment.

We also tried our hand at something new, using our CNC mill to recess a piece of furniture, and the waterjet to produce a brass inlay. We love tackling new types of work, and are always happy to see what new applications we can use our equipment for.

We can cut almost any 2D shape out of any material other than diamond and toughened glass, and can offer our CNC milling service if you’d like to add further features.
