Since joining the business in 1993, ♥️Paul Humfrays♥️ has played a key role in shaping multiple stages of our development & growth at SWC. A Facebook mention could never do his long list of achievements justice so we might have to write a book when he decides he’s had enough…although we don’t think this day will ever arrive to be honest 😅😅
Whenever something needs building, moving, modernising, or reconfiguring, Paul has been & continues to be the person we rely on 👷♂️🔨🔧🫡
Multiple factory moves, days…nights…a few war wounds along the way and a tonne of stories to share…it has been some journey 🤯 Again, Facebook may not be the most appropriate platform to share some of these 👀🤐
His connection to SWC goes far beyond a job, it’s a way of life 👈
Paul genuinely cares about the people, the culture, and the continued success of the business. And we’re extremely lucky to have people like Paul, who dedicate their valuable time towards helping us achieve our ‘bigger picture’ ambitions ♥️♥️♥️
👉 Although he began his career as one of our installers back in the very early days when we fitted windows, he has gone on to make a lasting impact, transforming countless spaces over the years 🧱🏭
Whether it’s unblocking toilets, or designing & helping to install a bespoke 70,000 square foot netting system to keep away the seagulls, the guy will put his hand to literally anything for the cause!! 🫶
Now one of our longest-serving members of staff, Paul remains deeply committed to both the business and the people within it. To him, SWC is more than a workplace, it’s an extended family ♾️
Attitude, humour, experience, and passion are all embodied in one person when we talk about “Humfs”. He is a resilient, brave and caring human being and very loved both inside and outside of SWC. A Popmaster champion 🎵 and a great drummer back in the day too 🥁, Humfs is a man of many talents & a true champ.
