From October 2026, our RIG Scorrier facility will be accepting hazardous waste!

This is a huge milestone for RIG and very good news for the construction and development sector.

Why? Because we’re not just taking hazardous waste for disposal.

- And turning it into compliant aggregate for re-use.

The Government has announced up to £15 million for on-farm reservoirs, with the Water Management Grant expected to reopen this autumn.

For farmers considering a reservoir, funding is only one part of getting a project moving.

There is also the excavation. The muckaway. The drainage. The material. The access. And the haulage needed to bring everything together.

RIG can help with all of it.

We provide muckaway, recovered aggregates and haulage support for agricultural and groundwork projects across Cornwall – helping you manage material coming off site and back onto site through one supplier.

For a reservoir project, that could include:

Excavation & muckaway
Keeping material moving off site as the reservoir and surrounding infrastructure take shape.

Drainage & groundwork
Our 40–80mm recovered aggregate can support drainage, foundation, bulk fill and heavy-duty access applications.

Sealing & cohesive fill
CF1 can be used for sealing and capping applications including ponds, canals and lagoons, as well as cohesive fill and groundworks.

Access & hardstanding
Our recovered 803 provides a compacted sub-base for tracks, hardstanding and access around the completed project.
