We never take for granted that as housesitters we are trusted by homeowners to care of the most valuable possessions in their lives… (next to their kids of course 😉) their pets and their home. There wasn’t an opportunity for us to meet the family of our most recent sit, which is quite common, so it’s even more important for them to feel 100% comfortable trusting us to do a great job.

Just completed a wonderful house/cat sit in the beautiful conservation village of Inveresk with Smoky. It’s great to be “traveling” again if it’s only 3 hours down the road.
I’m going to miss the purr of the 🐈‍⬛…and the quiet space of the conservatory, but yet only 20 mins from the city. Hoping they ask us back 😉

Dad has lots of stories about when he lived in the Glass, Huntly area as a wee boy during the war. We went back there yesterday and he was delighted to meet the young family who live there now. In case your wondering... they raise pheasants.
