Dumfries and Galloway, you little beauty! π
It's only taken 7 years living in the South of Scotland to venture three hours across the way, and take in the stunning scenery and beautiful towns this 'hidden gem' has to offer ( I absolutely hate that saying but it's so true π
)!
We spent a whole week on the beach at Mossyard, ventured to Kidcudbright, Gatehouse on Fleet, Portpatrick, Stranraer, Newton Stewart, Wigtown and Galloway Forest.
We were spoilt with the weather, and made the most of it paddleboarding, wild swimming, walking, fires on the beach watching the eclipse, watching the meteors in the dark skies, visiting farm shops, and discovering the best of Galloway π
It completely blew me away!
We spent the whole of our summer holidays in/around Scotland, and had an absolute blast, spending another two weeks in St Fillans near Crieff, and a long weekend in Arran. It was never too busy, which, made me think, where on earth is there a better place to spend your time? I'm biased, I LOVE living in Scotland, and often wonder how we got so lucky π₯°
I've taken a lot of time off, but that's why I went self-employed, to balance the school holidays and actually spend as much time as possible with my daughter whilst I can.
Back to it now... Spark Dot Grow here we go π
