We are excited to launch Stream of Consciousness, a new immersive VR film experience by Shoreham-based artist at events across the Valley this spring and summer!
The 360 degree film celebrates the Darent Valley’s rich cultural landscapes and biodiversity. The film begins before sunrise, amid a wonderful dawn chorus recorded at the source of the River Darent in the hills above Westerham. It journeys through different precious habitats along the valley including woodland, wildflower meadow, wetlands and chalk stream. Along the way, the artist introduces us to a diversity of creaturely characters and reveals some surprising facts about the local wildlife! The story concludes at sunset in the Dartford Marshes, where the Darent flows out into the Thames.
We will be running regular VR film screenings, plus hands-on drawing workshops with artist .mollet inspired by the landscape, from our DVLPS silver Airstream Caravan.
The first event we will be at is Horton Kirby Fete, Heathside, behind the Village Hall Saturday 29th April, 12-4pm. We hope to see you there!
