Weald is based in the picturesque Kent countryside, here our team craft bespoke w**e coolers and fridges that are high in quality and timeless in design.

Established by John Burgess in 1969, Weald is a family business, with experience and craftsmanship passed down through the generations.

Pictured here is Chris Burgess, John’s son, who is now our Managing Director. Chris is committed to driving the company forward with big plans to continue improving our manufacturing processes, and the quality and sustainability of the parts used in the construction of our w**e coolers.

Chris and the team are looking forward to introducing Weald w**e coolers to future generations!

Did you know that Weald Refrigeration was started in 1962?

John Burgess (pictured) was apprenticed as a refrigeration engineer in the early sixties straight from school.

He astutely recognised a gap in the market delivering kitchen fridges to pubs and decided to start making back bar bottle cabinets for the pub and bar industry himself.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Are you thinking of creating the ultimate party room that showcases your beloved w**e collection? If so, read on to hear how we can help…

A private client came to us to create this sublime w**e room to showcase their collection.

Our client had almost completed the development of a party room in their beautiful home and wanted a w**e cooler that would highlight, rather than obscure the stunning brickwork.

The units were manufactured in our factory in Kent using Colourtex Gold Pegasus sheets for the doors, top panels and base grille and Rimex Colourtex Mirror Gold for the sides and interior. They are also gold effect top and tailed and have top-and-tailed horizontal shelves.

With each w**e cooler temperature settable between +2°C and +24°C they can be used for red w**es, white w**es and ch*****ne, as well as for bringing w**es on. The efficient cooling systems within each unit bring peace of mind; you know that if you set the unit to a specific temperature, the liquid in every bottle will be within ± 1°C of the set point.

Our client was delighted with the final result and we think you’ll agree that these units are something truly stunning to behold and fit perfectly within the chic, but cosy party environment that our client has created.

If you would like something like this in your home, restaurant or bar please contact us on 01732 452050 for a complimentary consultation.

In the heat of the Indian summer, what is more important than a perfectly chilled glass of w**e?

Of all the factors influencing the quality of stored w**e, the temperature is the most important.

Our bespoke w**e cooler temperatures are adjustable and kept completely stable so you can be safe in the knowledge that your w**e will be kept at the optimum temperature at all times.

All of our w**e coolers come with microprocessor control that allows you to set the temperatures between +3°C and +24°C and be confident that all the bottles inside will be within one degree of the set point.

We can also provide cabinets with dual temperature zones to allow you to store w**es with different storage requirements within the same cooler.

Are you're looking to invest in a bespoke w**e cooler for collection?

Maximise your space with style.

The under-the-stairs space often goes unnoticed, collecting dust and clutter. But what if you could transform this often unused space into a w**e storage haven?

Over the years we have helped many of our clients achieve this exact result. Installing a w**e cooler under the stairs utilises that vertical space, allowing you to maximise every inch beautifully.

Your collection of w**e bottles can be a work of art in itself. By installing a w**e cooler under the stairs, you are showcasing your passion. The sleek design of the cooler and the elegant arrangement of your w**e collection becomes a captivating focal point that will impress all your guests as they saunter past.
