Really excited to partner with What's On In Kent.

I've already had the chance to attend a few of their networking events - networking with a difference - and It's been great meeting such a welcoming group of people. (The idea of networking before honestly used to give my the heebie-jeebies🫣)

Being part of the What's On In Kent community has already opened up a whole load of lovely new connections, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Working for yourself is great, so much flexibility.

For example, today I’m checking emails while spending 2 hours at a trampoline park...

Every half hour they put disco mode on too, which involves flashing lights and loud music - a huge boost for productivity.... Obviously. 🕺💡

Jokes aside, flexibility is something I never take for granted. Being able to work around life (and half-term fun) is a win, even if I'm slowly losing my marbles 😵‍💫 🤣

Jumping on the caricature bandwagon!!

A fairly accurate snapshot of my life: juggling work-life, two lovely (and very energetic) 8 year-old boys, school runs, meetings… powered by a lot of Costa coffees apparently ☕️

PS, If anyone’s found the secret to doing all of that without caffeine, please let me know as I could probably buy a new house with all the lattes I buy 🤣

Really enjoyed attending the Whats On in Kent – Networking with a Difference event on Friday, hosted by the wonderful Hypo Hounds charity. 🐾

Hypo Hounds train dogs to detect and alert to the dangerous changes in their Type 1 Diabetic owner’s blood sugars. It was a pleasure to hear all about their amazing work, and very touching to watch the video 'A Mother’s Anthem' , to better understand the affect type 1 diabetes has on the lives of children and their parents.

Took a break from the laptop today to do some Christmas shopping and make biscuits with my boys (pic of their handy work).

I might be spinning lots of plates as a VA, but the flexibility in my day is something I’m grateful for ☺️

Well that went well 😀

Such a great event at The Chesterfield Mayfair, with Daring Capital. It was great meeting new people, and meeting some familiar people in person!

A big thank-you to Kojo and the amazing team at the Chesterfield Hotel Mayfair for their excellent service.

The canapés were 👌 caviar on a Thursday night makes a lovely change from my regular 9 o'clock tea and biscuits 😬

And of course, as always, so nice to work with Jem Stein and be part of the DC team

Lovely afternoon spent with Fleur Blok Bookkeeping at the Networking with a difference event last week.

Great to meet some new connections, and came home with a lovely souvenir from the Chapel Down shop!
