We are a manufacturer of high quality garden sheds, summer houses, chalets, animal housing; children's play houses and bespoke garden offices. Our full range buildings are manufactured at our large local workshops located in Kent . All the timber used in our buildings are from renewable sources. The basic frame work is made from 47x50mm framing which we believe gives a stronger, sturdier frame for
construction of the finished building. Likewise with the cladding this is 19x125mm planed and tanalised shiplap as opposed to most commonly used 12x120mm which some manufactures would have you believe is thicker than average. It's worth remembering that as with anything else you get what you pay for. Preservatives
All sheds are treated prior to delivery except for the tongue & groove, and weather board, however for a small price they can be treated. All timbers in contact with the ground are vacuum pressure treated for long term rot protection. Cladding Timber

Tongue & Groove 16x125
Our tongue & groove is 16mm x 125mm planed kiln dried swedish white wood. Shiplap: 19x125
Boards which have been planed, tanalised and moulded to a pattern which has a tongue at the top of each board and a rebate at the bottom. Weatherboard: 22x125
Two wedge shaped boards are produced by sawing one thicker board diagonally. These are then fixed to the shed with the thick edge at the bottom overlapping the thin edge of the next board. The finished boards have a sawn surface giving a rustic look. The Shed Factory offers a service to customers that is second to none. Our quality buildings are constructed in our own workshops in Swanley, Kent using only the best quality materials. We specialise in made-to-measure buildings of any shape or size, made to your specific requirements by our skilled craftsmen. We do not mass produce sheds or any other products. Our cladding comes either untreated or at a small extra cost pressure treated this means that your building could last in excess of 20 plus years. All buildings with the exception of the Economy range are fitted with galvanized padbolt, galvanized hinges, and turn buttons on sheds, latches and antiques hinges on summer houses. The felt that we use is 40kg mineral finish, a heavy duty durable product. All of our staff are skilled tradesmen with years of experience within the industry.
