🔥 High Fire RIsk - No BBQS or open fires in the Peak District National Park 🔥
The wildfire risk is currently high due to the warm temperatures and dry conditions we are experiencing, and we've unfortunately already seen a number of wildfires this year!
We want to remind everyone to act responsibly when visiting the Upper Derwent Valley :
🍔 No BBQs - why not enjoy a picnic in the sunshine instead.
🔥 No open fires
🗑️ Take all litter home with you
🚬 Extinguish all ci******es responsibly, - don't drop them on the ground
🚗 Park in designated spaces only. Do not block emergency access points and look out for 'no parking' signs around the valley.
If you spot a fire, get yourself away from danger and call 999
