The before & afters don’t sell and I know that might sound wild coming from an aesthetics page 👀

Because yes results matter of course they do

But a photo on its own that’s not what makes someone book

What actually sells is everything around it
The story behind it
The context
The understanding

Because your ideal client isn’t just looking at the result thinking it looks nice

They’re thinking:
– Will it look like that on me?
– How long did it take to get there?
– What did they have done exactly?
– Will it hurt?
– Is it worth the money?
– What if mine doesn’t turn out like that?

And if your content isn’t answering those questions they’ll forget about taking that next step.

This is where most clinics get it wrong, I actually strongly think this bit - they post the after and comepletely FORGET about the before picture.

The before picture literally puts everything into perspective, that’s the key part where they think... Thats similar to what I look like NOW.

You’re posting that to explain and show your audience their exact situation NOW and what it COULD look like.

They post the transformation and expect it to do the selling for them, but the picture is just the hook, the STORY is what converts

So instead of just posting a before & after…
start showing:
– what the client came in wanting
– what their concerns were before
– what they looked like before
– what you recommended (and why)
– how the treatment actually works
– what the result means for them day to day

That’s what helps someone see themselves in it

People don’t buy treatments they buy:
confidence
solutions
feeling better in their own skin

If your content isn’t bringing floods of bookings in, it’s not because your results aren’t good enough it’s because you’re not communicating them properly

Start telling the story behind your work and watch what happens 👀

I’m not even joking when I say this cold foam drinks are doing more marketing than most businesses right now 😭

I’ve spent the last few weeks actively looking for places that do them LOOL.

Not because I’m desperate for a coffee, but because I want that drink. The one that looks good, films well, and feels like a little experience.

And that’s the bit people are missing.

It’s not about adding cold foam for the sake of it but creating something people actually want to post, tag, share and then it’s literally free marketing?

People literally do it for you.

Same way the pasta in the cheese wheel went viral.
Same way aesthetic brunch spots stay booked with cute flowers on.

If it looks good on camera, it travels, if you want that kind of exposure that is 🤷🏼‍♀️

Can anyone else get this song out their head?

This was such a fun shoot to do. This was how we broke this one down…

All ideas were brainstormed on a call beforehand, I went away did my research, watched his courses, looked at his funnels and broke down over 30+ hooks for reels.

They were sent off for approval, and approved ✅

We travelled to his site on the day, read the hook out to him and he repeated it and just spoke naturally on this topic.

We left with over 30+ pieces of content 🔥 went away and edited them all for him using the talking heads and the b-roll we shot to make them relevant.

Some people prefer a script, while others prefer unscripted. What matters is how well prepared you are for the shoot to direct and get what you need to get the job done 👏🏼

Such a different style of shoot for a property coach and such a good use of a day for getting this much content from it too.

Especially while talking heads are on the rise 🙌🏼

I hear it all the time when people say, I can’t do this or I can’t do that.

I can’t post my Reels to my stories because it lowers your Reach.

Let your story views time out and then post one story. Now I’m not saying you shouldn’t apply any of these strategies to your business but first you have to understand why you’re doing the strategy and what you’re doing it for to know whether it would work for your business. There is a lot of noise on social media and a lot of people telling you what works and what doesn’t work.

One thing that works for a social media manager might not work for a coffee shop because more people want to learn and know things from a social media manager than they do from a coffee shop.

A coffee shop is where you go for coffee. 😂

I think we all just need to remember what works for one industry doesn’t always work for another and to not get disheartened with that.
