Sierra 1 Security Stewarding is recruiting Stewards and SIA Door Supervisors to join our growing events team. We have exciting opportunities across Sheffield, Nottingham, Stoke, and Huddersfield, as well as at major seasonal and national events including the Winter Light Trail at Trentham Gardens and Wollaton Park, Formula 1 and other events at Silverstone, the RIAT Airshow in Fairford, plus concerts, festivals, football matches, and much more.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking reliable and professional individuals who can complete our online application form, including a full five-year employment history and two relevant references.

Working Pattern
Part-time, zero-hours contract
Genuinely flexible work – you choose the shifts you want
Transport provided for events outside your local area

Pay Rates
Stewards: £12.32 per hour
SIA Door Supervisors: £13.75 per hour
Pay: Monthly, PAYE

Sunday 25th May Nottingham Forest v Chelsea marked the end of a busy long football season.
184 games and 10,500 staff deployed over 8 football grounds. A few weeks off now before the start of the pre season friendlies!!

Day 2 of the Moto GP saw the 39th wedding anniversary of two of everyones favourite people.
Keith and Jackie Waterhouse, not just amazing supervisors but two of the most hardworking, professional, caring people we have ever had the pleasure to work with and call friends.
Congratulations Waterhouses and hopefully for your 40th there will be more than prosecco outside a Travelodge ❤️❤️❤️

Our first visit to Silverstone in 2025 for the Moto GP completed 🫶
We had sun, we had rain, we had wind but we had fun.
Supervisors and stewards deployed around the circuit to all the grandstands, it has been a pleasure to work with this team carrying out their crowd management and safety roles with professionalism and smiles ❤️

🕯️ Today we remember the 22 lives lost in the Manchester Arena bombing, 8 years ago. Our thoughts are with the families, survivors, responders, and all affected.

This year’s anniversary is especially poignant as The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill has now been passed.

For everyone in the crowd management sector, this is a watershed moment. Martyn’s Law helps formalise what so many of us have long recognised: that the work we do, the risks we assess, and the plans we make all matter.

Safety must always come first.
