But usually the thing you do quickly now, took years to get good at.

Looking back, there are a few things I’m particularly proud of from my time as CEO.

▪️Saving an almost-100-year old charity from closure,
▪️Being part of a cultural shift that moved people from fear and uncertainty towards confidence, trust, and genuine passion for the work again.
▪️And seeing people grow into a team capable of delivering results that completely changed the direction of the organisation.

None of that happened because of one person.

It happened because good people came together, had honest conversations, made difficult decisions, and kept moving forward when things felt tough.

That’s what leadership looks like in the real world.
