Stay Safe Security is the first company to solely specialise in providing its services to those that need them the most, the vulnerable. Through no fault of their own some adults, children and families get put in positions where they are in need of a helping hand and go to supported housing until they build the confidence and self-belief to live by themselves again. Whilst working closely with their clients by keeping regular contact, attending meetings and sending frequent reports of incidents along with other causes for concern. Stay Safe Security has found this relationship to be vital as it ensures crucial information finds the correct member of staff. Although a relationship with the client is good for business, a good relationship with the service users is essential as it leaves them feeling safe, secure and protected. When using Stay Safe Security you will not get a generic security guard, instead you will be provided with a fully trained and qualified SIA licenced member of staff that has the service user’s safety at heart. Join us on our mission and together we can “create safer places”.

The Weakest Link 🔗

After working with young people at high risk of knife crime, those not at risk, schools, colleges, and professionals, I've noticed one thing time and time again...

The biggest disconnect isn't between young people and services. It's between what adults think young people need and what young people actually say they need.

Too often, decisions are made for young people rather than with them.

Funding is awarded based on adult perspectives, while the voices of those most affected are left unheard.

That's the weakest link in the chain.

Whenever we create a project, we take a different approach. Every project is shaped by the experiences, opinions, and ideas of young people, while combining that with professional knowledge.

It's a hybrid approach that ensures young people are not just participants—they're partners.

If we truly want to break the cycle of knife crime, we must first bridge the gap between professionals and the young people they are trying to support.

Break the weakest link. Listen to young people. Build solutions together.

🚏 MOBILE YOUTH CLUB 🚏

What a fantastic session we had this week, bringing teamwork, determination, and plenty of smiles to Wybourn Primary School!

The highlight? A Tug of War Challenge between the girls and the boys! 🏆🤝

There was lots of cheering, great effort from both teams, and a real display of resilience and teamwork. But only one team could take the victory...

👀 Can you guess who won?

🎉 GREAT NEWS 🎉

We are delighted to share that we have been successful in our bid to the National Lottery Community Fund! 💚

This means our sessions at Wybourn will now continue until at least March 2027 🙌

A huge thank you to Jo for all the hard work put into writing the bid, and thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. Your support, dedication and belief in the project means so much.

We can’t wait to continue supporting young people in the community over the next few years 💚

⚠️Weapon Amnesty Bin Locations⚠️

Carrying a knife for “protection” can change a young person’s life forever.
Many young people believe having a knife makes them safer — but the reality is often the opposite. Carrying a weapon can increase fear, escalate situations, and turn arguments into tragedies in seconds.

The consequences are real:
⚠️ Serious injury or loss of life
⚠️ Criminal records that affect jobs, college, and travel
⚠️ Prison sentences
⚠️ Trauma for families, friends, and communities
⚠️ Living in constant fear and paranoia

Most young people who carry knives never intend to use them. But one moment of panic, anger, or pressure can lead to irreversible consequences.

Real strength is walking away, speaking up, and protecting your future — not carrying a blade.

Think twice, drop the knives. Use your Weapon Amnesty Bin 💚
